Welcome to Manakamana Secondary Boarding School (MSBS), your gateway to outstanding education in the heart of Koshi Province, Dhankuta district, specifically at Dhankuta Municipality ward No.1, Hile. Established on the auspicious day of Saraswati Pooja in the year 2052 B.S., MSBS has proudly served our community for nearly three decades, building a strong reputation for delivering top-tier education. The school was founded by the visionary Mr. Govinda Bahadur Shrestha, a former Colonel in the Nepal Army, and the dedicated Mrs. Sangita Rajbhandari (Shrestha).
Throughout our journey, MSBS has consistently demonstrated a commitment to educational excellence. Our mission began in 2065 B.S., when we set out to prepare students for the SLC Examination. In our very first batch, 100% of our students passed with DISTINCTION, setting a remarkable standard for excellence. Notably, for 15 successive batches, MSBS has maintained its position as a leader in academic achievements, consistently securing top results in both SLC and SEE examinations. This impressive track record firmly establishes MSBS as the premier educational institution in Dhankuta district.

Manakamana Secondary School began its educational journey, laying the foundation for a future of academic excellence.
2056
The school achieved official recognition with its registration in the education department records of the Dhankuta district.
2060
Witnessing growth, a new RCC building was constructed, marking a pivotal moment as the school shifted to a new and improved facility.
2061
Further expansion occurred with the addition of a two-storied building, enhancing the infrastructure for a better learning environment.
2063
A milestone was reached as the school made its inaugural attempt in the District Level Examination, with Dima Lama earning recognition for outstanding academic performance.
2065
Celebration followed as the first batch of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) students achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate, acknowledged by the Dhankuta District Education Board.
2066
Parbati BK wrote her name in the school’s history by scoring an impressive 82% in the SLC exam, showcasing academic excellence.
2068
Continuing the tradition of excellence, Rubina Rai secured an 82% score in the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exam, maintaining the school’s high academic standards.

Manisha Thapa’s outstanding achievement took center stage as she clinched the top rank in the Dhankuta District with an exceptional 3.75 GPa in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). All students excelled with scores not falling below 1.8 GPa, highlighting the school’s commitment to academic success.
